DOAK Integrated Resources Ltd is one of the largest companies in supply chain management of agricultural commodities such as oil seeds, edible oils, livestock feed raw materials, spices, dried fruits, livestock products (meat and milk), production, processing and packaging of special crops. We are emerging as a household name in agro-export operations to Africa, Asia, America and Europe.  DOAK Integrated has strategically positioned as reliable company for warehouse management, logistics and processing facilities. DOAK Integrated Resources currently exports over 20 different agro commodities to 30 countries.

The company formed following the merger of Akwiwu Agriculture Ltd, and Doak Group of Companies. With the acquisition in July 2010 of the Nasarawa farming business Ltd, Doak Integrated further expanded its ruminant feed production sites and at the same time formed a new production partnership with two associate companies to provide animal feeds in Plateau State and the borders; this stand-alone company is Doak Farms Ltd.

Our Farms

We started pig farming in 2012 with 1 boar and 9 piglets and by 2015 the total number was over 200. We have maintained a steady supply of quality fat-free pork to the Nigerian market.

Our livestock department is manned by a professional in animal health and nutrition with vast field experience in livestock breeding, production and sales. The department holds regular capacity building workshop and seminars to staffs and network of smallholder farmers and others actors in the value chain.  

At the moment we have more than 5000 fishes in our ponds. Some fishes weigh up to 5kg. we are proud to say
that the state Ministry of Agriculture took our fishes to the National Agriculture Exhibition show in 2011 at
Nassarawa State. The Ministry won the first position award in its exhibition.
The Fishery Section is overseen by an academic doctor whose specialty is in Fishery and Hydrobiology. She
directs the affairs of this department.

Our current production capacity is 6,000 Isa brown layers in battery cages. We are building ultra-modern facilities to accommodate 10,000 birds before the middle of the year 2020. DOAK farms have built strategic partnerships to attract alternative forms of finance and have developed sustainable business models to de-risk the poultry industry in Nigeria. We leverage on our professional and dedicated human capital resources to deliver successful livestock business solutions to clients.

We breed a wide range of specie, like the Helix aspersa aspersa, the Petit- Gris. Our farm concentrates on the economic potential of the giant African land snails (GALS), more specifically the species Achatina achatina, Achatina fulica and Archachatina marginata commonly known as katantawa (Hausa), ilako, isan (Yoruba)

 Their size ranges from 3 cm to 25 cm. We have designed a sustainable and profitable approach to heliculture in Nigeria with over 5years practice experience. We are reputable in establishing small- and large-scale snail farms our network of local and international clients. Our methods are conventional and in line with global best practices for delivery healthy livestock products.

Our snails yield about 70 young snails per breeder for 2 months, our outdoor pens are no more than 300 Petit-
Gris per square meter. The snails are protected against rodents and shrews. Future breeders are placed in hibernation, in wooden boxes, well dried and out of frost

We deliver profitable cattle farming and fattening solution using conventional cattle ranching methods. Our formulated fattening ration complies with DVM and NAQS standard for production and processing of beef and other livestock products in Nigeria. We are certified to process beef for local and export markets. DOAK has partnered with states and local communities to access arable lands for grazing to ensure compliance with regulations developed by the Federal government of Nigeria. We have successfully developed balanced ration for ram and goat fattening using local feed ingredients. Our strength lies in the resilience and dedication from our farmers who are ready to adopt new techniques for managing livestock products.

We rear sheep commercially for the purpose of meat, milk and wool production. Some of our breeds include: Bannur, bellary, Cheviot, Deccani, Hassan, Merino and Ramboullet, There are reared according to their desired production purpose.
They are housed in a separate and suitable unit and a safe from adverse weather and harmful predators.
We also have a good ventilation system ensuring that they is a good flow of sufficient air and light inside the house with a proper drainage system.

We have a wide range of fast maturing grass cutters that mature between 5 to 6 months with females weighing between 3-3.5kg and males between 4-4.5kg.
They deliver between 5 to 7 young ones per birth and can take in twice a year. Our breeds are capable of producing between 10 to 14 grass cutters yearly

Our Oil Palm plantation is situated on a 45 hectare of land and located in two local government areas. The
palms were planted in 1996, 2000 and 2007. The seedlings for 1996 and 2000 were bought from NIFOR while
that of 2007 were donated by IITA. The palm fruits are processed at the farm mill at the Headquarters in Mbak
Etoi, Uyo.
The processing is done in a hygenic and neat environment, supervised and monitored by qualified experts. We
supply processed palm oil to distributors in large quantities.

We have varieties of cassava in our farm including the latest developed varieties 96- 03-07, 92-0057 and 419 developed by the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA).

We are currently planting the following varieties of cassava, TME 92/0057, TME 92/0326, TME 96/0304, TME 98/2010 in over 30 hectares in scattered locations in the Southern part of Nigeria.

Our orchard located in the South Eastern Nigeria has about 200,000 stands of queen pineapple with irrigation facilities to provide all year round fruits. We have established a local market and signed MOU with processing companies in Nigeria. We have supplied over 200MT of pineapple to our clients and local markets.

We have about 6,000 suckers of plantain and banana of different varieties planted in the farm. And a reticulation of water system that waters the farm in the dry season to keep the plantain healthy and maintain good yields

We plant our corn three times a year simply because we have an Industrial borehole with 5.5 horse
power submersible pump (ground force) that bring out the water for reticulation when we need water
